On the second day of WOW's Ecosinema event, we invite you to an evening of film, dialogue, and solidarity.
We’ll screen 'Eulogy for the Dead Sea' by Polina Teif, a poetic documentary about the vanishing of this unique landscape and the people whose lives have always revolved around it; highlighting many Palestinian stories, and showing how the ongoing occupation has deepened water scarcity, disrupted agriculture, and made daily survival ever more precarious.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with local voices, and a shared community meal prepared by Aber Food Surplus where we continue the conversation together.
An event hosted with the support of Ceredigion Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Aberystwyth Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
💛 PAY WHAT YOU FEEL
WOW is guided by the belief that cinema should be a space for everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Our 'Pay What You Feel' offer opens the doors wider, allowing you to contribute what feels right, whether symbolic or generous, based on your situation and honesty.
If you’re able to support us, your contribution goes directly into sustaining WOW’s work: keeping our festival alive, sharing incredible films with new audiences, and nurturing our ‘small is beautiful’ ethos. Every penny helps us continue every year, and that means the world to us. By giving a little extra, you’re also helping to cover those who can’t afford to pay more, ensuring everyone can be part of the festival too.
Contributions for this event also support the community meal, giving attendees a chance to connect, share stories, and celebrate together. Every donation helps us create inclusive, meaningful cultural experiences for all.
