Botanical Printing & Furoshiki Workshop with Aymee Charlton 🌿✨
As part of our Festive Fayre, join textile artist Aymee Charlton on Saturday morning for a creative, hands-on workshop exploring the natural beauty of botanical dyeing and printing.
Aymee will guide you through the process of using accessible, plants and plant-based colours to dye silk ribbons and cotton fabric, perfect for the festive season. You’ll experiment with a variety of botanicals to see how they interact with different materials, creating unique prints and patterns inspired by nature.
Once your fabrics are set and dry, you’ll be introduced to the Japanese art of Furoshiki — learning to wrap gifts beautifully using your newly decorated fabrics and ribbons.
All materials are provided, and your ticket includes:
✨ All-natural dyeing materials and fabrics
✨ A festive drink and nibbles to enjoy during the session
✨ A take-home bundle of your own printed cotton wrap and hand-dyed silk ribbons
