An all-new Warhammer Quest game, set in the Mortal Realms of Warhammer Age of Sigmar is imminent, and we are so excited that we are going to be running demos all throughout the day on Saturday 29th November! Come along to get a first taste of what Warhammer Quest games are all about, and delve into the Jade Abbey and battle against the foul forces of Nurgle in Darkwater!
What is Warhammer Quest: Darkwater?
A thrilling cooperative dungeon-crawler for one to four players set within the Age of Sigmar, Darkwarter is a brand new boxed game and the latest in the campaign based Warhammer Quest series. It’s time to take up your sword, unite with your friends, and battle against the foul forces of Nurgle, the Plague God, attempting to purge his corruption of the Jade Abbey.
A narrative, standalone game, perfect even for those with no experience with Warhammer games, Darkwater is quick and easy to learn, and can either be played as short 30-60 minute skirmish scenarios against the forces of evil, or as a full story campaign across three acts and 10-14 hours!
These campaigns are thrilling adventures where you’ll play through multiple scenarios, unlock new heroes and rewards, and eventually test yourselves against the final boss! Victory isn’t certain, but don’t let loss put you off! Campaigns are designed to be replayed, and as you only use a portion of the cards each time, every playthrough will be a unique combination of heroes played, encounters fought, events overcome, and rewards looted.
What do I need to take part?
Absolutely nothing! For this Try Something New Day, we have built up our store copy of Warhammer Quest Darkwater, so all you need to do is book a slot and come down to roll some dice and adventure for glory!
