Every Saturday in November alongside our regular activities, we will have tables set up for some Matched Play games of Warhammer 40,000! These are great Try Something New opportunities for hobbyists who have finished Battle Honours, or are needing the last few Play You Way stamps and learn more about the Matched Play format of gaming!
What is Matched Play?
Matched Play is the most common way to play Warhammer 40,000 - it is designed to even the odds and let your skill as a general shine, piloting large armies and fighting over key objectives to achieve victory! These use the points system for customisable army lists instead of the stricter contents of Combat Patrol, letting you make your army however you like it! We will be using the latest Chapter Approved Mission Deck throughout the month to play these games!
Every Saturday - Morning 10:30-13:30 and Afternoon 14:00-17:00 Sessions
We will have our gaming room set up with tables for Matched Play games; we are encouraging our younger players to fight Incursion sized 1000 point games, and older hobbyists can bring up to 2000 points Strike Force games in these sessions. Staff will be on hand to help out with any questions and guide you on the Matched Play format compared to the smaller Combat Patrol format.

22nd November - Warhammer 40,000 Matched Play Workshop
We’ll have space for some games, and staff will be on hand to help you with everything Matched Play! Writing army lists, tactics for scoring, understanding the Chapter Approved Mission Deck or just some guidance on how to K*ll your opponents, come on down for some games and consult our experts to improve your games!
29th November - Warhammer 40,000 Asymmetrical Missions
Time to try something new with the new Asymmetrical Missions in the 2025/26 Chapter Approved Decks! These have much more dynamic deployments and mission objectives, drastically shaking up the game whether you are the Attacker or Defender! Come down to play some games and try these dynamic and different mission types!
