Beeswax Candle Making Workshop with Carnie Bees 🐝✨
As part of our Festive Fayre, join Anna from CarnieBees on Friday evening for a warm, hands-on workshop where you’ll discover how beeswax becomes a candle — from hive to flame.
This two-hour experience invites you to discover how pure beeswax is created, beginning with a genuine honeycomb frame taken straight from the hive.
You’ll gently cut the wax from your own frame before melting and filtering it, witnessing the full transformation from raw comb to molten, golden beeswax ready for candle-making.
Once your wax is prepared, you’ll explore a range of traditional candle-making techniques:
✨ Pour your own candles using moulds, creating two shaped candles and some tea lights
✨ Learn the art of rolling beeswax sheets to form beautiful, natural candles
✨ Package a finished candle made especially for this workshop — perfect as a seasonal gift or a treat for yourself
All decorative materials will be provided, including small boxes, ribbons, natural papers, pinecones, and other foraged embellishments to add a festive touch.
No experience needed — just come along and enjoy the process. Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your place!
