Despite the name he is tall. is actually not that tall, but when he, with his guitar alongside him, occupies the stages around Denmark, he grows. It is in fact on stage, the likeable lad Troels Thorkild Sørensen from Mårslet, near Aarhus, shines with confidence as the musician he is tall.
he is tall. has made an impressive impression on the Danish underground music scene and is being linked with the American musician Jeff Buckley. He has been the support act for artists like Tyler Childers, The Divine Comedy, Lera Lynn & Brandy Clark. Despite his humble musical set-up, he is tall. is gathering inspiration from country and hip hop, and it merges into his very own and honest sound.

In the fall of 2022 he is tall. released his debut-EP ‘it’s always been you.’ - the song ‘you could just take me.’ was featured on ‘New Music Friday Denmark’ on Spotify and’ New Music Daily on Apple Music and especially got positive reviews in Germany. In the first part of November 2022 he toured the same country and played in cities such as Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig.
Since then, he has worked intensely on his songwriter craft and in late 2023 he started to work with the producer duo Alexander Grandjean and Wes Hutchinson (Norah Jones, Mavis Staples).
On February 21 2025, a new chapter was written with the release of his new single ‘i miss you and america.’, and he’s lot of new music ready to be released in 2025, furthermore he is touring Germany and other European countries this year too.
