In its ninth year, Paul's Jam is regarded as an important launching pad for new musicians and bands. Playing before Barn patrons, musicians have an opportunity to gain followers and earn gigs at The Barn. It is also an opportunity for musicians to meet one another. Musicians have been drawn to Paul's Jam from Parkersburg, WV, to Sidney, OH, and all points between.
Many times, bands have formed after members became acquainted at Paul's Jam.
Paul's Jam offers a diverse collection of performers, including classic rock, country, metal, folk, acoustic and electric, and typically an impromptu jam.
The list of musicians and bands who have gotten their start at or boost from Paul's Jam is long and impressive.

Paul’s Jam is a monthly open stage at The Barn, and is regarded as a Zanesville staple. It is held the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm, as it has with rare exception since January 2017.
