Svoje nove živote započinju u Sloveniji, gradeći karijere i obitelj.
🎬 Blaq Tito (2022., 10’ 44’’)

Presenting the Non-Aligned Archive: EYE OF THE WORLD
We invite you to the film evening “Eye of the world” organized as part of the presentation of the Non-Aligned Archive, taking place on Saturday May 3rd, starting at 6 PM at the Serbian Cultural Center in Zagreb (Preradovićeva 21).
The Non-Aligned Archive is a community archive committed to research, preservation, and communication of the heritage of African, Asian, and American communities in Croatia.
This film program features two films that explore migration experiences and cultural connections emerging from the Non-Aligned Movement:
🎬 Slovenian by Choice (2019, 50’)
Stories of eight individuals who, within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement, left their home countries and moved to the former Yugoslavia. They began new lives in Slovenia building their careers and families.
🎬 Blaq Tito (2022, 10’ 44’’)
A short film presenting the artistic interaction between Christian Guerematchi’s solo performance NAM - Non-Aligned Movement and Ibrahim Mahama’s work Parliament of Ghosts. The film reflects on forgotten histories and the contemporary echoes of cultural ties between Ghana and Yugoslavia during the time of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Following the screenings there will be a discussion about the films and a broader conversation on the Non-Aligned Archive and community with Rea Drvar and Mohamed Al Younis, moderated by Petra Matić.
Entrance is free!
Films will be screened with English subtitles.
