Mimika orkestar je progresivni, avangardni, konceptualni jazz-world ansambl na čije izvedbe snažno utječu balkanske narodne tradicije, koristeći njihove specifične modalitete i ritmove u suvremenom jazz izričaju. Kroz glazbu i scenski nastup, svaki projekt istražuje drugačiju temu. Kompozicije su konceptualno i stilski povezane narativom istaknutim kostimima i izvedbom.
U sklopu 59. Međunarodne smotre folklora Zagreb održat će koncert Na razmeđi jazza i tradicije u Vintage Industrial Baru gdje će prepoznatljivim zvukom spojiti moderno i tradicionalno. Ulaz je slobodan.

Mimika Orchestra is a progressive, avant-garde, conceptual jazz-world ensemble whose performances are strongly influenced by Balkan folk traditions, using their specific modalities and rhythms in a contemporary jazz expression. Through music and stage performance, each project explores a different theme. The compositions are conceptually and stylistically connected to the narrative by prominent costumes and performance.
As part of the 59th Zagreb International Folklore Festival, they will hold a concert The Cross between Jazz and Tradition at Vintage Industrial Bar, where they will combine modern and traditional with their distinctive sound. Entry is free.
