Skelly Run Baton Rouge

The Skelly Run is a thrilling Halloween-themed fun run organized by Skelly City, offering participants a unique blend of fitness and fantasy. Inspired by the beloved 12-foot Halloween decoration 'Skelly,' this event features a family-friendly 1-5k course filled with Halloween-themed surprises, including larger-than-life Skelly decorations, eerie music, fog, and plenty of photo opportunities. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite skeleton, Halloween character, or even as Skelly himself for a chance to win prizes in the costume contest. After crossing the finish line, the fun continues at Skelly City, the ultimate after-party for Skelly enthusiasts. Skelly City features the Hollows: Feast of the Dead & Nightmare Market, offering a food and beverage village and merchandise vendors. The event also includes the Skelly Showdown Display Contest, where participants can showcase their most creative, spooky skeleton displays, and the Monster Mash Dance Party, featuring a Halloween playlist for dancing. Costumes are encouraged, and skeletons are celebrated, making it a night to remember. Interactive activities such as skeleton-themed games and face painting are available for all ages. Registration is required, and safety measures are in place to ensure a fun and secure experience for all participants. Packet pickup details will be emailed to participants prior to the event. Virtual run options are available for those unable to attend in person. Parking information will be provided before the event. Participants should bring cash for vendors, their ID for check-in, digital tickets, and the check-in packet.
