De muziek en de rijke carrière van Rob de Nijs komen tot leven in de gloednieuwe musical Malle Babbe. De musical is gebaseerd op een waargebeurd en bepalend moment in Robs leven, waarin hij zweeft tussen droom en werkelijkheid. Door de ziekte van Parkinson is hij tot weinig meer in staat. Om hem op te vrolijken, neemt Jet hem mee terug naar zijn jongere jaren en stappen ze samen in het Circus van zijn Geheugen.
