Trans-plant-empathy- A Somatic Listening Workshop

In this inclusive and participatory space, a guided practice of deep listening is experienced holistically through somatic movements and sound meditations. A dynamic interplay of silence and sound, stillness and movement invites participants to deeply connect with the present moment and the changing aspects of our being. Led by dancer and movement researcher Tanja Saban and musician and sound healer Anna Lou Martini, this session invites participants to enter a state of flow and profound psycho-physical awareness by connecting to sound, movement and the nature around them. This increased sensitivity can help us to contemplate our perception of time, our relationship with the environment, and foster interspecies empathy. The workshop lasts approximately 90 minutes, followed by a tea gathering to share experiences.
