RADIANCE In-Person Workshop (A Mixed Creative Arts Studio Event)

This community series is intended for both seasoned creatives and beginner artists of all kinds. The intention is for dancers, visual artists, poets, writers, musicians and beyond to come together to create interdisciplinary artistic creations that fulfill and excite us. For those participating in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area, the culminating in-person event is on Saturday, May 10th (details below). For those participating from remote locations, a final project such as an artistic video will be created and included within the in-person event.

Each workshop in this series will feature inspiring creative techniques for you to reflect on life’s joys and challenges within your given art form. Finding your own pace, and finding slow creation practices are key tenets of this series. Classes will be facilitated by disabled creatives Heather Friese Banet (in person and virtual), and Natalie Young (virtual only).

In-person workshops will be held on Fridays from 6-7 PM EST at Riverside Arts Center (Ypsilanti, MI) for the following dates: 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25

Virtual workshops will be held on Sundays 7-8:15 PM EST on Zoom for the following dates: 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/19, 4/27. Please note that 4/19 is a Saturday workshop due to Easter Sunday.
