About the event

Op stap met HLH (reeks wandelingen) : Heuvelland en Wereldoorlog II - focus op Wijtschate

80 jaar na het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog wil History Lovers Heuvelland vzw deze ingrijpende periode in de kijker zetten. Op zondagmorgen 4 mei 2025 is Wijtschate aan de beurt. We brengen eerst de grote lijnen van deze periode in herinnering. Daarna trekken we rond in het dorp, op zoek naar verhalen over en sporen van de militaire gebeurtenissen én het lot van de dorpsgenoten van toen.
De wandeling is ongeveer 3 km en goed schoeisel is aangewezen. Iedereen welkom. Vooraf inschrijven is noodzakelijk en kan op .
