Discover the Magic of Butterflies at a FREE LECTURE sponsored by Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens Wednesday, August 20 at 11 a.m. in the Rossi Auditorium. This event is designed to inspire awe and appreciation for pollinators that play a vital role in our daily lives. Join us for a flutter-filled experience led by Jennifer Grieser, Director of Natural Resources at Cleveland Metroparks. This vibrant educational program invites nature lovers of all ages to dive into the colorful world of butterflies—highlighting the beloved Monarch.
What to Expect:
-Explore the life cycle of butterflies, from caterpillar to breathtaking wings.
-Learn how Cleveland Metroparks manages habitats and exotic mantids to benefit butterflies, with an emphasis on Monarchs.
-Discover how you can create butterfly-friendly spaces in your own backyard.
-Gear up to help monarchs in whatever outdoor space you have.
