ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Kick off the holiday season at the Yorktown Luminary Festival, a full day of shopping, skating, Santa, food, music, lights, and community celebration. The festival spans Downtown Yorktown and Yorktown Middle School, featuring the Artisan Market, Downtown Shop Hop, Santa’s Village, Festival Food Court, Ice Skating, the Tree-Lighting Ceremony, and the always-glowing Lighted Tractor & Golf Cart Parade.
Bundle up, bring the family, and discover a new holiday tradition right here in Yorktown.
SCHEDULE AND ACTIVITIES
Artisan Market (Yorktown Middle School)
10:00a–5:00p - Over 80 makers and creators offering holiday décor, gifts, apparel, baked goods, handmade crafts, concessions, and more.
Santa visits from 1:00–3:00p.
Downtown Shop Hop
10:00a–5:00p - Pick up a Shop Hop Card and explore Yorktown’s local businesses. Get your card marked at each stop and turn it in for prize drawings. Not every stop sells something—many simply want to introduce themselves and welcome you in.
Completed cards (with name & phone number) can be turned in at Four Day Ray, The Frozen Boulder, or Elf Central Station in Santa’s Village by the end of the parade.
Winners posted Sunday; prizes picked up at Frozen Boulder.
Ice-Skating Rink (Civic Green)
11:00a–7:00p - Open-air seasonal rink in the heart of the festival.
Santa’s Village (Civic Green)
2:00p–7:00p - A glowing holiday hub featuring:
• Hot Cocoa Station (Coffee Cravings)
• Kettle Corn & Roasted Nuts
• S’more Station
• Craft Coloring Station
• Elf Central ornament-making
• Photo Op spaces
• Festival Cup & Collector’s Items
Santa appears 4:00–6:00p on the stage for photos.
Food Trucks (Walnut Street)
Tasty festival favorites available throughout the afternoon and evening.
Touch-A-Tractor
4:00–6:00p | Canal Street - Get an up-close look at the tractors featured in the Lighted Parade.
Participants may hand out candy during this event only.
Tree-Lighting Ceremony
6:00p | Civic Green - Gather for a warm and festive community moment as we light Yorktown’s Christmas tree.
Lighted Tractor & Golf Cart Parade
6:30p | Through Downtown Yorktown
A glowing procession of tractors, golf carts, cars, trucks, and fire trucks—lit and decorated for the holidays. Brought to you in partnership with the White River Heritage Antique Association.
