Yoga for Social Justice

Hiya lovely people - I'm starting a new monthly event in partnership with Spark:York CIC !

Yoga for Social Justice at SPARK upstairs room Thursday 8th January 6pm-7:30pm.

This is a monthly accessible yoga class for folks who care deeply about the injustices of the world. Yoga is a practice where freedom is at the heart. What can we learn from yoga in our movements toward social justice? How can the practice of yoga support us to navigate these deeply turbulent times?

Each month will be themed and we’ll explore the theme through movement, meditation, mantra, mudra and more. We’ll practice for 1 hour followed by 30 mins of discussion in community.
