The psoas isn’t just a “hip flexor” or a buzzword—it’s a central player in your posture, movement, breath, and emotional regulation and yet, in much of modern yoga, it’s misunderstood, overworked, or treated with force rather than care.
This weekend workshop is for anyone ready to rethink their relationship to the body—from the ground up.
Led by Megan Grandinetti, longtime yoga teacher and bodyworker who has studied the psoas extensively with mentor Liz Koch, this is not about stretching or releasing the psoas. Instead, we’ll:
🔍 Learn where the psoas actually is, how it functions, and how it holds physical and emotional patterning
🌀 Explore why the idea of “manually releasing” the psoas can actually be harmful
🦴 Shift our movement patterns by reorienting toward the joints and spine, not the big muscles
🌿 Develop a sense of core integrity rooted in spinal awareness, nervous system safety, and internal rhythm
This is an immersive, full-body inquiry—not anatomy memorization. You’ll feel it, sense it, and begin to embody it.
