Our second race day for the year will be at Northam on the 3/8/25 which will be run under a Competition Permit (Race Day) eligible for all Pre ’75 and Pre ’85 (inclusive of Evolution and Pre ’78) and Pre 2004 machines. We will also be having a Pre ’75 125cc feature race.
During the day there will also be Round 2 of the VMXWA Pre ’75 World Championships. What is this talk of the VMXWA World Championships? At each of the four rounds this year (8/6, 3/8, 31/8 and 19/10) there will be an all in pre ’75 race of 5 laps held before the lunch break. All finishers will accumulate points over the four rounds which count towards the final “VMXWA World Championship”. There will be a red plate presented for the series leader with a large trophy for the overall World Champion presented after the final round. The Sidecar World Championship will be one round with the race held after the lunch break at Round 3 on the 31st August 2025. Who will be crowned the VMXWA World Champion for 2025?

One event licences are cheaper purchased online through ridernet. Northam is a Competitive Race Day so select Competitive licence and then one event competition. Purchasing one event licenses through ridernet prior to sign on is the preferred method as it is a significant financial saving and also reduces the paperwork on the day at sign on.
Please make sure you bring the correct cash with you for the weekend as there are no eftpos facilities.
Saturday the 2nd August at 5pm will be the July General meeting held at the track to make it easier for country members to attend a meeting.
Camping is available on Saturday night. Campers are encouraged to bring a bag of firewood along to use at the communal fire pit.
The Northam track is a really pre ’75 and Vintage friendly track with great club rooms and ablutions and is an event well worth attending. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
