After a hiatus since 2016, the original Tour of Toodyay returns, brought back by the Perth Integrated Events Team, the same group that first created this event 15 years ago.
Our goal is to recreate a unique cycling experience where avid road cyclists can once again hit the road for a single-distance ride through the beautiful winter countryside towns of Toodyay. This ride offers minimal traffic and significantly reduced risks, making for a safe and enjoyable cycling experience.
Key Event Points
You are required to be able to ride the whole distance of 115 km as there is no separate category.
You are required to be able to self navigate with the provided GPX / TCX files and Directional Cue sheets which requires specific navigation skills.
You are required to have basic bike repair skills even though there is assistance from the Event Team if they are within the vicinity.
We are supporting local and we encourage that participants look at accommodation the night before on the 26th July and ready for the 27th July.
While this event has safety vehicles and riders on the course, you must have the required skills for the distance and elevation:
Distance: 115 km and Cumulative Elevation: 1372 metres.
