In the early twentieth Century quilts were reborn in a pastel world covering a Dust Bowl landscape. Learn how the new century reinvented the quilt. You will see the quilts of the great designers that changed the course of quilting for the next 50 years and beyond. I have been collecting the best quilts from this era for many years now and I have accumulated some spectacular quilts from this time period.
These are NOT the quilts you think of for this time: there is NO feedsacks allowed in this trunk show. These are stunning, rare and beautiful quilts from the great designers of the early twentieth century: Webster, Orr, Mc Kim, Ver Mehren and more.
I really enjoyed her program “Quilts That Go Bump In The Night” a few years ago and am looking forward to this unique collection and all the wonderful details that she had collected about the quilts.
