Plein Air Paint-Out at HOPE25

As part of HOPE25, a weekend celebrating connection, creativity and community spirit, join us for a relaxed plein air paint-out in the beautiful surrounds of St John’s Anglican Church.

Bring your sketchbook, paints, pencils or camera and immerse yourself in the heritage charm of this stunning Gothic Revival-style church. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or simply curious, all are welcome to take part or just enjoy the atmosphere.

🎨 Live Painting Demo
From 9:30 AM, join local artist Lindsay Newland for a live plein air demonstration. Come and have a chat while Lindsay works through a painting inspired by the church grounds.

🕘 Make a day of it – the HOPE25 Open Day runs from 9 AM to 3 PM and features:
• Op Shop bargains
• Friendship Café
• Mainly Music fun for little ones
• Line dancing demos
• Historical talks
• Guided organ tours
