Exhibit Dates: August 1-30, 2025
For this exhibit we asked artists to interpret oral traditions that have been shared, shaped, and passed down from person to person. These stories — whether whispered around a campfire or shared on a social feed — form a living archive of culture and imagination, from age-old fables to modern mythologies, tall tales and legends, myths and folk stories, humorous anecdotes, urban legends and contemporary folklore. The exhibit features over 85 works by 40+ artists.
First Friday Fun: Stroll the Firefly Night Market outside on King St, meet some of our artists, visit with Angel, or pick up a free Mural Walk map at our desk and explore the 30+ larger-than-life murals around the Royal Square District.
Art lovers who cannot visit the gallery in person will be able to view the exhibit via an on-line photo album here: (to be added after the exhibit opens)
