Join York artist and creative director Susan Bradley to create your own unique linocut prints at this lovely relaxed day long workshop.
Come and learn the joys of linocut printmaking. You'll get to explore this wonderful print making technique, with lots of time to work out your design, practice your carving, and try printing on different papers, and using different methods to print (both with and without a press). It will be lots of fun, and a relaxed and joyful day of creativity - that anyone can do.
You'll leave with a print that you can proudly hang on your wall and admire for years to come, and the skills ,knowledge and confidence to carry on linocut printing at home after the workshop
About the artist:
Susan Bradley is a designer and artist based and from Yorkshire. Her award winning metal designs range from large scale exterior wall installations to small interior products. Her clients include museum and art galleries around the world, along with companies such as Donna Karen New York, Urban Outfitters, Christian Louboutin and Harvey Nichols (for who she designed the backdrop to their infamous Christmas windows 15 years ago)
Her designs have been sold in museums including the V&A, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, The Baltic, National Portrait Gallery and London Transport Museum.

Open to everyone and anyone, no previous experience required. Complete beginners or those who have tried lino printing before and want to spend more time honing their skills and learning some 'tricks of the trade' (Suitable for over 16's only)
