JAZZ ON A SUMMER SUNDAY

We're now into July, and it's time to make a diary note, for SUNDAY AFTERNOON, 27th JULY:

"JAZZ ON A SUMMER SUNDAY AFTERNOON",

(with our 7-piece jazz band)

* There will be a great mixture of tunes you'll probably know and can whistle or sing along to - including foot-tappin' stuff from the 1920's / 30's, 'American Songbook', stage musicals, etc. All performed by talented jazz musicians - who will be working their socks off, playing and singing to entertain you.

* Some of our other jazz mates will probably turn up with instruments, to have a sit-in for a couple of numbers - which will all help to create a nice mix of fun and music.

* Our hosts (The York and District Indoor Bowls Club) are being very good in helping to organise this, and they'll be producing some roast beef sandwiches (to purchase); otherwise, feel free to bring something of your own.
