Invasive Species Pull at Limited Access Preserve

Learn to identify multiple species of invasive plant species present at one of our limited access preserves off of Bell Marsh Rd. We will mainly be tackling multiflora rose, with some bittersweet and barberry sprinkled in. All of these species are opportunists that can be seen everywhere from roadsides and backyards to forests and fields. How did they get here and why do they need to be removed? Join us and learn more during this active, hands-on event!

Participants should come prepared wearing work gloves, closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, and pants, and shoes suitable for hiking. Bring water and layers as needed. Tools and materials will be provided. This event will take place rain or shine. This workday is free and open to the public with registration.
