August is National Clear the Shelters Month, a nationwide campaign inspiring communities to open their hearts and homes to shelter pets. Each year, this initiative—featured on NBC—helps over 100,000 animals find loving families. And now, it’s York County SPCA’s turn!
🎉 We’re waiving ALL adoption fees for animals older than six months during this special event!
Help us clear the shelters and make room for more animals in need. 🏠❤️
✨ Important note: Adoption fees for kittens and puppies under six months old are not waived and will remain at the standard rate.
What you need to know:
✅ Events are first come, first serve for adoptable animals
💳 Cashless payments only for extras like dog licenses, leashes, carriers, or bloodwork
🏠 Some animals may be in foster homes; check their online listings so we can coordinate your meet and greet.
