Շահան Արծրունի «Հայ կին կոմպոզիտորներ»

Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությունը սիրով հրավիրում է բոլորին ճանաչված ամերիկահայ դաշնակահար, կոմպոզիտոր, դասախոս, գրող և պրոդյուսեր Շահան Արծրունու «Հայ կին կոմպոզիտորներ» համերգին, որը տեղի կունենա մայիսի 8-ին՝ ժամը 19։00-ին, ՀԲԸՄ Հայաստանի դահլիճում (Մելիք-Ադամյան փ. 2/2)։

ՀԱՄԱՌՈՏ ԿԵՆՍԱԳՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ
Շահան Արծրունին ծնվել է Ստամբուլում 1943 թվականին, ապրում է ԱՄՆ-ում։ Ավարտել է նախ Ստամբուլի կոնսերվատորիան այնուհետև Նյու Յորքի «Juilliard» համալսարանը։ Համերգային և կոմպոզիտորական գործունեությունից բացի Շահան Արծրունին հայտնի է նաև որպես էթնիկ երաժշտության մեկնաբան, մանկավարժ, գրող և պրոդյուսեր։ Մասնակցել է ամերիկյան հեռուստատեսության բազմաթիվ նշանավոր հաղորդաշարերի, իսկ նրա կատարումներն ընդգրկված են BBC-ի երաժշտական ֆոնդում։ Համերգներ է ունեցել նշանավոր բեմերում, նվագել է Սպիտակ տանը, Անգլիայի, Շվեդիայի, Դանիայի և Իսլանդիայի թագավորական պալատներում։ Դասախոսել է Հարվարդի, Կոլումբիայի և Միչիգանի համալսարաններում։ ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսում հանդես է եկել հայկական շարականների մասին դասախոսությամբ։ 1996 թվականին Ամենայն Հայող Կաթողիկոս Գարեգին Ա-ի կողմից պարգևատրվել է «Ս. Սահակ-Ս․ Մեսրոպ բարձրագույն շքանշանով։ Ձայնագրել է 24 ձայնասկավառակ։ 2015 թ. սեպտեմբերի 5-ին ՀՀ Նախագահի հրամանագրով պարգևատրվել է Մովսես Խորենացի շքանշանով։

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Şahan Arzruni’s was born in Istanbul in 1943․ He currently lives in the USA. He graduated first from the Istanbul Conservatory and then from the Juilliard School in New York. In addition to his concert and compositional activities, Şahan Arzruni is also known as an ethnic music commentator, teacher, writer and producer. He has participated in many prominent American television programs, and his performances are included in the BBC music fund. He has given concerts on prominent stages, played at the White House, the Royal Palaces of England, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland. He has lectured at Harvard, Columbia and Michigan universities. He delivered a lecture on Armenian "sharakans" in the US Congress. In 1996, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin I awarded him with the highest order of "St. Sahak-St. Mesrop". He has recorded 24 CDs. On September 5, 2015, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, he was awarded Movses Khorenatsi Medal.
