Find Your Voice 2025

Everyone has a voice, and everyone can sing!

Wanna learn how?

Starting 1st July for six weeks, we'll be hosting a Find Your Voice course for new or less experienced singers to work alongside Phoenix members with some really exciting repertoire!

The course will include:


- Effectively warming up
- Using Alexander Technique to develop great posture for tension-free singing
- Using the whole body as a mechanism for singing
- Breathing naturally using the entire support musculature
- Developing tone and range
- Developing clear diction
- Vocal health
-Moving up or down the voice by step and by jump
- Using mouth shape to strengthen accurate pitch
- Developing resonance and energy
- Interpreting music to sing with expression

There will also be some light music-reading for those fancying a challenge!
