AARP Tax Help

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation in Thurston County by appointment for the 2026 season from February3rd to April 14th. They will be at the Yelm Library on Tuesdays from noon to 5pm.

There are three ways to make an appointment:

1. Call the AARP Tax Aide appointment line at (360) 347-6276 and leave a message.

2. Make an appointment on the AARP website at https://taxaidewa20.org

3. Walk-ins are accepted if space is available.

AARP Tax Aide is serving taxpayers in seven locations this year: Rochester, Yelm, Lacey, Tumwater, and Olympia. At least one of their sites is open every day except Sunday.
