Backyard Bricks is a two-day event celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and community through the iconic medium of LEGO bricks. Designed primarily for Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs), this showcase offers a unique opportunity for builders to exhibit original creations (MOCs), participate in themed contests, collaborate with fellow enthusiasts, and engage with the public through an interactive exhibition.
On Thursday, the AFOLs & Builders Day, registered AFOLs will set up and display their creations, take part in exclusive AFOL build challenges, and attend a social mixer to foster community building and collaboration.
Friday is the public exhibition, where community members of all ages can view the displays, meet the builders, and vote for their favorite creations. The event culminates in an awards ceremony recognizing creativity, technique, and innovation across multiple categories. We encourage you to interact with the public and share the stories behind your builds.
While this is a family-friendly event, all event registrants and anyone in the community center during non-public hours must be at least 16 years old.
There is no registration fee to display your MOC.
