Come join the Glen Helen Raptor Center and the Miami Valley Parrothead Club for some tropical vibes, live music, food, drinks, and lot of prizes! Meet bald eagles, falcons, owls, hawks and more, up close and personal as the Raptor Center and the Parrotheads team up for this amazing family-friendly charity event! Every penny will benefit the valuable conservation and rehabilitation work done by the Raptor center. Live music will be headlined by Dayton Daily News’ 2025 Musician of the Year Acoustic Junior, with special guest star Sarah “The Ukelady” Denny. Junior’s motto is “A little Buffett, a little rock, a lot of fun!” Also performing will be Deno Brandon and his Acoustic Lagoon, and Mouser Murawski with his hits “Turtles on Vacation” and “Shag Carpet”. Many wonderfully curated gift baskets will be up for raffle and other items will be available through a silent auction, including a Margaritaville™️ golf bag and accessories and an incredible piece of artwork designed by local artist Reem. Admission for this one-of-a-kind event is only $5 for individuals and incredibly only $10 for your entire family! Parking is FREE! Also, members of GHRC and members of the MVPHC with their valid lanyard ID will be admitted free. The opportunity to join BOTH organizations will be available as well! So come out and spend a summer afternoon beneath the gorgeous canopy of shade trees* (seating provided, no need to bring chairs), listen to some tropical rock and Jimmy Buffett songs performed live, visit the Lodge for food, drinks and prizes, meet the Raptor ambassadors, and win some incredible prizes as we “Party with a Purpose.”
*This event is rain or shine. If it does rain, the live music will be moved into the lodge.
