Volunteer Day: Help Protect Our Future Paddock Trees

Join us for a hands-on Paddock Tree Guard Making Day and be part of a growing network of volunteers supporting the regeneration of our rural landscapes.

We're calling for volunteers to help build mesh tree guards for the Yass Paddock Tree Project, a vital initiative that supports local landholders in protecting young trees from grazing pressure—helping them establish and grow into the next generation of shelter and habitat across our region.

Come along to:
• Learn how to assemble durable wire mesh tree guards
• Lend a hand in preparing materials for local landholders
• Connect with like-minded community members and contribute to on-ground Landcare action

Your time will directly support biodiversity, farm resilience, and long-term landscape health.

No experience needed – just bring gloves, a hat, and your enthusiasm!
