Understanding your child's emotions - Parent Session

Brenda Spilva - Counsellor and Parent Support Practitioner will be hosting an evening session at the Wellbeing Hub in Yarrawonga to chat about your child’s BIG emotions.

With over 20 years of experience in working with families, children and behaviours we welcome parents of children aged 6-11 for this information session.

During this 45 min session Brenda will discuss

Your child’s emotions and what it all means and how to understand them

Bust some myths about parenting and managing BIG emotions

What your child needs from you when they display BIG emotions

How you can be there Emotion Coach to navigate these tough times and add more strategies to your parenting tool kit.

There will 15-20 of questions time afterwards. Total session time will be approximately 1hr
