'Responses to Shifting Landscaspes'
Study Day followed by Exhibition Opening :
Friday 4th July 2025

A day of presentations, discussion and responses to shifting landscapes changed by climate and our increasing need for energy.

Join us at St George’s Theatre, Great Yarmouth on Friday 4th July from 10am - 3pm for 'Responses to Shifting Landscapes';

A day of presentations, discussion and responses to shifting landscapes changed by climate and our increasing need for energy featuring presentations from:
- Author of Latitudes: Encounters with a Changing Planet , Jean McNeil
- Artist filmmaker Emily Richardson whose current work reflects on a recent trip to the Arctic World Archive
- Researcher Bridget McKenzie from Climate Museum UK, author of The Role of Culture in Response to the Earth Crisis
- Artist filmmaker and researcher at The Scott Polar Research Institute Ruth Maclennan
- Artists Arieh Frosh and Ed Compson whose recent exhibition The New Scroby Sands Offshore Wind Farm Information Centre looked at the relationship between offshore wind energy and Doggerland, the submerged landmass that used to connect the UK to mainland Europe.

The study day will be followed by the opening of the exhibition No Before or After by Emily Richardson at PrimeYarc in Market Gates Shopping Centre from 3.30-6.30pm

Tickets for the Responses to Shifting Landscaspes Study Day:
We are operating a tiered pricing system to ensure the event is accessible to as many people as possible. All tickets include lunch and refreshments.
-£3 - concessionary rate for those on low incomes or from a Priority Place as defined by Arts Council England
-£6 - for freelancers and artists who are earning enough to be able to pay a bit more
-£10 - for those on a full-time wage
-£15 - for those representing institutions, or those who are able and generous enough to contribute a little extra.

If you can't afford a ticket but would like to come along, please get in touch as we have a number of bursary tickets we can make available.
