The Introduction to Fine Furniture Making, is a two-day workshop designed for individuals with little or no prior woodworking experience. The course aims to engage participants who wish to build their own furniture or those who may already have some prior woodworking experience but want to revisit the foundation of fine woodworking practice and skill development.
This intensive weekend workshop covers various aspects of woodworking, from understanding timber movement to mastering the basics of sanding.
The course is held at our Yackandandah workshop, providing a hands-on learning experience in a well-equipped environment. It offers an opportunity to immerse oneself in woodworking, gain practical skills, and develop a deeper appreciation for the craft.
