The City of Beavercreek will host a second open house for its Plan Beavercreek initiative on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Beavercreek Senior Center, located at 3868 Dayton-Xenia Road. Residents are invited to review and share feedback on a draft of the city’s future land use map - a key component in shaping Beavercreek’s long-term vision for development, sustainability, and community character.
City staff, along with project consultants ZoneCo and OHM Advisors, will be in attendance to answer questions and gather input from the community. The open house is designed to gather additional community input, identify areas that may need clarification, and incorporate revisions before the plan is finalized.
Community feedback has been collected through a variety of outreach methods, including the first open house held in June, an online survey through the Plan Beavercreek website, and meetings with the project’s steering committee. Key themes from initial responses include the importance of managing growth, preserving green space, promoting walkable development, providing diverse and affordable housing, and encouraging redevelopment that honors the city’s existing character.
