Join Wyoming Valley CUUPS for an Open Mabon Ritual and Potluck
Mabon, the Autumn Equinox, is a time of balance—when light and dark stand equal—and of thanksgiving for the second harvest. As we move toward the darker half of the year, we take time to honor what has come to fruition and to reflect on what we are ready to release.
This is a season to gather in community, share abundance, and mark the turning of the Wheel with intention. Our ritual will center on themes of gratitude, balance, and letting go, as we prepare ourselves for the inward journey of the coming months.
Date: Saturday, September 20th
Time: Arrive between 3:45–4:00 PM
Ritual Begins: 4:10 PM
Location: 20 Church Road, Wyoming, PA 18644
Potluck to follow the ritual:
Please bring a dish to share and either label the ingredients or have a list available for those with dietary needs.
Additional Notes:
Drumming and percussion are welcome—please bring instruments if you have them.
Keep an eye on our calendar for an upcoming Mabon planning session—we welcome your voice and ideas in shaping the ritual.
Much of our behind-the-scenes organizing happens on Discord, so we encourage everyone interested in planning or volunteering to join us there.
We look forward to celebrating Mabon with you and gathering in gratitude, reflection, and community.
