Beginners to Winners

Week 1 of the Beginners to Winners course:
1. Principles of Sailing
- basic physics, sails, keel, bulb and rudder
- sailing terms, points of sailing e.g. beating, reaching, running
- wind directions e.g. where the wind is coming from?

We are a friendly bunch and come together to have fun, eat brownies and have a chat.

Remember:
No experience in sailing required just join and have a go at something new.
The RC sailing course is held at the Wading Pool in Wynnum.
Arrive at 8.30AM and the course starts at 9AM.
Entry is 3 dollars per session.
