The Friends of the Smith Public Library are hosting this special D.E.A.R. program so adults can carve out time in their busy schedules for reading. Think of this as a low-key night out. Bring a book, tablet, magazine - whatever you want to read. Check in, chat for a few minutes, then find a spot in the library to read for an hour uninterrupted!
Timeline for the event:
5:30 pm - Connect with other readers
6:00 pm - Read
7:00 pm - Make plans to attend the next D.E.A.R. event
No registration needed - sign in when you arrive. You must be a member of the Friends of the Library and 18 or older to participate.
