Bonsai Basics

A beginner-friendly introduction to the ancient art of bonsai using the hardy and forgiving Dwarf Jade. In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the history and philosophy behind bonsai, learn simple shaping techniques, and pot your tree in a real bonsai container using proper bonsai soil. You’ll also learn essential watering, pruning, and placement tips so your bonsai continues to thrive at home! This class will be presented by Heather Ballard of Bonsai by Heather.
