Not Swamp Gas: The True Story of the 1966 Michigan ‘Swamp Gas’ Flying Saucers

In March 1966, hundreds of police officers and other responsible southeastern Michigan citizens reported close-up sightings of flying saucers. After 3 days of interviewing witnesses, the government’s chief UFO investigator, Dr. J. Allen Hynek, insulted the entire state by declaring the sightings were nothing more than combusting marsh gas.

Join us on 25 July 2025, when renown UFO researcher and author, Raymond Szymanski, presents a humorous, South Park-styled exposé of Project Blue Book’s most intellectually outrageous UFO explanations and a look at what’s coming next. The presentation will feature the true stories and recorded testimonies of several new ‘Swamp Gas UFO’ witnesses, including that of Colonel Gary K. Carroll, an American hero who intercepted one of the 1966 Michigan Swamp Gas UFOs in an F-106 Delta Dart.

All three of Szymanski’s books will be available for purchase and autographs before and after the presentation.
