About the event

The North American Beaver - Ecosystem Engineer

We will discuss Castor canadensis's role in American History as well as its fascinating adaptations, family life, diet, habitat and threats.

Following a slide show presentation, we will take a short walk to a small beaver dam near the Bashakill Wetlands. Dress for the weather, wear shoes for walking.
