Come and embark on a musical journey through time at our upcoming salsa party, “From Havana to New York.” Join us for a night that blends the old and new, featuring a captivating mix of songs that span the rich history of salsa. From the soulful beats of 1920s Son Cubano and the vibrant rhythms of 1970s Salsa Dura, to the passionate melodies of 80s & 90s Salsa Romantica and the energetic vibes of contemporary Timba and Cubana, this event promises a kaleidoscope of sound and dance.
Expect to hear classics from legendary artists such as Buena Vista Social Club, Fania Records, Oscar D'Leon, Frankie Ruiz, and Marc Anthony, as well as hits from modern-day stars like Alexander Abreu and Leonie Torres.

About Maria:
Maria (BailaMar) Kozlovsky is a vibrant figure in the world of Cuban salsa and Dominican Bachata, with over 30 years of dance experience and 20 years of teaching. In 2008, she embraced Latin dances with her partner Alexander Yumashev.
Maria refined her talents in Cuban salsa, Son, Rumba, and Afro with top Cuban instructors and further enriched her knowledge in the Caribbean.
While she is internationally celebrated as a Dominican Bachata teacher, salsa has always held a special place in her heart.
She has shared her love for dance at festivals and events in over 10 countries, including Poland, Spain, France, the UK, and the Dominican Republic. Since 2018, she has been spreading joy through dance at BailaMar Academy in Dublin, Ireland.
