Green Withens And Blackstone Edge Walk

🅿️ Ol3 5UN this is the nearest post Code. You cant miss it it’s the carpark next to the huge mast near J22 of the M62. We will meet in the carpark at 9:30 and we will set off about 9:45.

This Walk is just over 6 miles and should take us around 3.5/4 Hours. The walk takes us around Green Withens Reservoir onto Rishworth Moor then back onto the Pennine Way and onto Blackstone Edge. Be warned this is an exposed walk on some rough Moorland. You will need waterproof boots for this one although it’s not a difficult walk it’s very open and exposed so you take the full force of the Winter Weather. I would advise on bringing your waterproofs and some gloves hats etc we could easily get Rain,Sleet or Snow. Bring enough supplies to last around 4 hours.

Children are welcome as long as they are with a parent or carer. But bear in mind it will be boggy cold and most likely windy.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept under control by the owner.
