A creative week on camera — writing, performing and making films from the inside out.
We all know that screen acting is a big part of filmmaking — but it’s only one piece of a much bigger puzzle.
Across the week, your young ones will write, develop and perform their own short scenes, working through the full filmmaking process in a relaxed, supportive, and most importantly... fun environment!
For some, it’s a first step onto the set. For others already training with us, it’s a chance to go deeper, take ownership of the work, and understand how performance fits into the bigger filmmaking picture.
Across the action-packed week, your young ones will:
🎲 Take part in drama and filmmaking games that build confidence and creativity
🎬 Learn how scenes are shaped — from idea to final shot
✍️ Write and develop their own short scenes
🎥 Perform and assist in filming to get their scenes on camera
🎬 Gain insight into what directors and filmmakers are looking for in the film production process
The week builds towards a filmed showcase, where parents and carers can see the scenes that have been written, performed and brought to life over the course of the bootcamp.
Know a young person aged 10–16 who’d love to create their own scenes and see them filmed? Book a place while spaces are available.
