Operation Holiday Heroes

We are excited to announce the creation of Operation Holiday Heroes! The event will start off at 5pm of December 8th with a community Christmas Dinner at the Raceland Middle School. From there at 6pm the traditional Shop with a Cop part of the evening will begin at Wal-Mart in Ashland. But for the first time we have combined with all of the Police Departments, Fire Departments, and First Responders across the county. This new partnership was cofounded by the Russell Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 45 and the City of Raceland Police Department. By all of us working together and combining resources we will be able to help provide Christmas to more families than ever before. So please join us in volunteering or donating money to this worthy cause. We are expecting over 400 children to be sponsored and up to 1000 meals served this year!
