Lighting of the Lantern

✨ Please join us for our second annual Lighting of the Lantern event on August 9th — an evening dedicated to hope, healing, connection, and breaking the stigma around mental health and suicide.

We’ll kick things off at 6 PM with burgers and hot dogs, plus a DJ to set the tone and keep the energy going. Throughout the night, we’ll have guest speakers and invite community members to share their stories, empower one another, and speak from the heart. Together, we aim to raise awareness, encourage open conversations, and support prevention by showing no one is alone.

At 8 PM, Purpose Artisans will lead us into a powerful drum circle. Then by 9 PM, as the sun sets, we’ll release a single lantern — a symbol of hope, healing, remembrance for those we’ve lost, and intentions for what we wish to welcome or release. The meaning is yours to create.

There will also be community resource tables from our partners, plus art activities provided by Creative Healing Space to help us process, express, and connect.

We hope you’ll come be part of this important evening to stand together, reduce stigma, and build a community of understanding and support. 💖
