About the event

WAS 60th anniversary meeting

Worthing Astronomical Society reaches its 60th anniversary this month.

We will celebrate this milestone at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday September 17th in the Highdown Room at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church, entrance off St Michaels Road.

We will be having some food and drink to celebrate. You are all welcome to attend.

Our speaker this month is Dr David Bacon of the University of Portsmouth, and he will be talking to us about Jupiter and the training of students for orbital missions.
