Crown Ballet - Giselle

Following the acclaimed success of last year’s UK tour, Crown Ballet® returns with a majestic new production of Giselle -one of the most beloved and haunting ballets of all time.

Set to Adolphe Adam’s exquisite score, Giselle tells a poignant and powerful story of love that endures beyond death.

A sweet, innocent peasant girl, Giselle falls deeply in love with Prince Albrecht, unaware of his true identity and hidden betrayal. When the truth is revealed, her heartbreak proves too great, and she tragically loses her life. But even in death, Giselle’s love remains pure.

As Albrecht mourns at her grave, he is confronted by the Wilis - vengeful spirits of women betrayed before their wedding day -who seek to dance him to death. Only Giselle’s enduring love can save him, proving that true love transcends even the grave.
